Washington Legal Foundation is deeply saddened by the passing of Michael J. Lotito on December 19, 2024.
Mike joined WLF’s Legal Policy Advisory Board in 2019 and was an especially engaged member during his five years of service.
As a founder of Littler Mendelson LLP’s Workplace Policy Institute, Mike understood the value of injecting legal-policy debates with free-market-oriented thought and standing firm for the rule of law. He carved time out of his busy schedule to author numerous publications for WLF and coordinated the participation of other Littler Mendelson attorneys as pro bono writers. Mike also generously shared his experienced counsel with our Legal Studies Division leaders on employment-law matters.
