Cate Stetson is the co-director of Hogan Lovells' Appellate practice group and an elected member of the firm's Global Board. She has argued in the U.S. Supreme Court and all but one of the federal circuits. Her practice cuts across many industries and subject matters. Cate is a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
More about speakerAdam is the creator of and main author for EmpiricalSCOTUS.com, a blog that looks at contemporary and Supreme Court issues at an empirical view. Adam holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from USC and a J.D. from Cal-Berkeley School of Law. He is also the principal for the legal data consulting firm Optimized Legal. Previously, Adam practiced law at two law firms.
More about speakerJon is a member of Sidley’s complex commercial litigation practice and Supreme Court and Appellate practice, and has argued cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal courts of appeals and federal district courts. Both a trial lawyer and an appellate authority, Jon has successfully represented clients on a wide range of constitutional, statutory and administrative law issues in all stages of litigation. He was a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Justice Department and served as a clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas.
