How to Support WLF

The Washington Legal Foundation (WLF) opened its doors in 1977 as one man's vision. WLF can only accomplish as much as our resources allow.

The work of the Washington Legal Foundation - litigation, legal studies, outreach and education - depends on the generosity of these donors.

Voluntary charitable gifts constitute all of WLF's operating revenue. Besides cash contributions, WLF accepts fully tax-deductible donations in the form of:

  • Stock Certificates
  • Real Estate
  • Bonds
  • Life Insurance
  • Antiques
  • Bequests

WLF is also fully eligible for matching gift programs established by many organizations to increase the value of contributions by their personnel.

All contributions to WLF go directly into its programs. WLF is a lean and aggressive organization in which a small but extremely dedicated professional staff accomplishes a great deal.

WLF has also established an endowment fund to help defray the cost of maintaining its headquarters.

WLF is an independent corporation and is neither associated nor affiliated with any other organization.
